i don't think i've been this annoyed in a really long time.

i'm trying desperately to hold onto the job i have, even though there really isn't a reason for me to desperately hold on because i'm actually an asset to them (god that sounded conceited)....i still need to hold on tight. the economy scares me. i can't even think about it, because when i do i start to get all clammy and uncomfortable. they let go two girls at my job a few weeks back. one of them was named corina and her and i got really close. she sat right next to me so i confided in her a lot with my life and she did the same with me. she told me about her receiving two paychecks by accident, duplicate checks. her and another coworker of mine yvonne both got two paychecks with the same amount of money and without any hesitation to think about doing the right thing and letting payroll know, they cashed them. corina cashed one at her normal check cashing place and cashed the other at a different location and yvonne cashed both at different locations under different names (???!!!!!!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?)

i honestly don't know what to say about this situation other than..... really? they will trace where the checks were cashed (which they did) and they will check imaging for who signed them (which is what they did) and they will find them (which they did). it took about two weeks for payroll to finally narrow down what happened and they were fired and taken out by security. corina has 3 kids, and she's a single mom. why????! ugh! i can't even talk about this, it's making me angry. but yeah, corina's position at my job was very crucial, she had a lot of big accounts and they were pretty much left to me. not all, but one of the biggest...pac sun. i deal with ALL of the vendors of pac sun now, on top of william sonoma, pottery barn, west elm, barney's and i am also helping out a sister company of ours called gilbert air with air freight.

my boss' mom died on saturday. we had a team of 7 girls, now we only have 4 and we're handling work that should be for 10 or 15 people to split. it's really fucking stressful. i'm sure suzanne can vouch for me that as soon as my head hits my pillow, i am OUT. i need to get a better sleeping pattern or something. i don't know. i'm just really tired man. there is my vent after like a month of not posting anything.
